Our meat comes from the award-winning Mettricks butchers in Glossop- a renowned family butcher who carefully selects us the highest quality meat from the High Peak, produced on farms working to stringent welfare standards and slaughtered at their own abbatoir, 4 miles from the pub.
Our fish is brought to us by Neve fleetwood, operating from the ancient Fleetwood town fish market. With strong supply links to Peterhead and Brixham, they can offer us a fantastic variety of fresh, sustainable, British seafood, 24 hours from market to plate.
Our fruit and veg is sourced by Cheshire Wholesale- based in Stockport and working closely with local growers to supply us with the best produce at the height of its season
Our cheese is brought to you from the Hartington creamery- a small-batch cheese producer based here in the Peak District.
Our bread is delivered fresh from Glossop by Grains Bakehouse- a small family-run business specialising in artisan bread and pastry
We work hard with the best local suppliers to offer you fantastic food all year round that changes with the seasons. We change the menu every 4-6 weeks to showcase a variety of dishes throughout the year that make use of ingredients when they are at their best.
Our a la carte menu is available:
12pm-3pm and 5.30pm-9pm Tuesday-Friday
Our set lunch and sandwiches are available:
12pm-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and sandwiches only on Sunday
Our Sunday roasts are available from 12pm on Sunday, and are subject to availability.
